threshold. The warning threshold depends
on the distance between measuring device

• Clean external lens surfaces like the

• Decrease the distance between the
measuringdeviceandthereector.
• Use a distance measuring device with a
higher range.

eTemp The internal devicetemperature is outside of
the permissible range.
→ For the permissible ambient temperature,
see page 108, chapter 14.8.
• Check ambience temperature, improve
ventilation if applicable.
• Shield against radiation heat, e.g. shade
the measuring device in case of direct
solar irradiation.
• Use device with heating at low ambient
temperatures.
• Use cooling housings for high ambient
temperatures.
