The laser beam can be readjusted to different duct diameters after loosening the cover
screw.
How self-alignment works
The sender module can be moved horizontally and vertically using motors and bevel gears
so that the sender light beam can be adjusted by approximately 2° in all directions.
Tracking is performed using the measurement signal on the 4 quadrants of the measure-
ment receiver. This allows automatic compensation of optical axis misalignment caused by,
for example, distortion of duct walls due to temperature fluctuations.
