8.5 Teach-in
During the teach-in process, the switching thresholds for all beams are individually
adjusted for the sensing range and the ambient conditions.
A teach-in process must be carried out when commissioning, when changing operating
mode or performance options, and at regular intervals in general.
Click Teach-in.
The teach-in process starts. If the teach-in process is successful, a corresponding
message is displayed.

Similarly, if any errors occur, a corresponding message is displayed.

Then check that the MLG-2 is correctly aligned, that the front screens are clean,
and that there are no objects located in the light path.
Then carry out the teach-in process again.
Teach-in when switching on
If you activate the Automatic teach-in when switching on device option, the teach-in
process will be performed every time you switch on the device.
Teach-in quality

The teach-in quality indicates how successful the teach-in process has been. The
MLG-2 calculates this value based on the quality of the light level received.
