7.3.2 Modules with system information
QS – Switching output status
Table 56: QS – Switching output status
Index Access Data type Description
10h R UINT-16 This module transfers the status of switching
output Q1 and the statuses of virtual switching
outputs Q2…Q16.
Bit 0 = Q1 (physical output)
Bit 1…15 = Q2…Q16 (virtual outputs)
0 = output not active
1 = output active
The status of a switching output depends on the following factors:
•
The application assigned in SOPAS ET
•
The function programming assigned in SOPAS ET or in the fieldbus functions
The following is set at the factory:
•
Switching output Q1 = NBB ≥1
•
Virtual switching outputs = no function
NOTE
These virtual switching outputs can only be configured in SOPAS ET (see "Measuring
and diagnostic functions for switching outputs", page 110).
SYS – System status
Table 57: SYS – System status
Index Access Data type Description
11h R UINT-16 This module transfers the system status of the
MLG-2.
The system status is stored in 8bit:

QoR – Quality of Run (process quality)
Table 59: QoR – Quality of Run
Index Access Data type Description
12h R UINT-16 This module transfers the process quality of
the MLG-2 in percent.
00h = 0%
64h = 100%
The process quality indicates the quality of the light level currently being received. The
MLG-2 analyzes the light level received when the light path is unblocked and compares
this to the values after the last teach-in process.
If the received values are getting worse, the process quality drops.
Possible causes of a drop in process quality include:
