These objects are only used for replacing the previous MLG version with an MLG-2. Do
not use these objects to implement new applications with the MLG-2.
7.3.4.1 Beam status with 8-bit length
NOTE
The modules with 8-bit length can be used to output the beam statuses of a maximum
of 240 beams.

R UINT-8 These modules transfer the status of the
beams of the MLG-2.
Byte 0: bit 0 = beam 8 … bit 7 = beam 1.
Byte 1: bit 0 = beam 16 … bit 7 = beam 9.

To replace the existing MLG PROFIBUS, the MLG-2 supports the output of beam func‐
tions and beam status with 8-bit length.
