5.3.3 Vibration severity
Due to the influencing variables listed below, the vibration response of the system at the site
of operation can lead to increased vibration severity at the motor:
Transmission elements
Assembly conditions
Alignment and installation
Effects of external vibrations
Under certain circumstances, the rotor may have to be balanced completely with the output
element.
Please take care to ensure that the vibration severity specified in accordance with ISO 10816
is not exceeded at the defined measuring points on the motor. By doing this, you can ensure
problem-free operation and a long service life.
Maximum permitted vibration severity
The values for the maximum permitted radial and axial vibration severity must both be
maintained.
