5.10.1 SIMATIC Edge
Under "SIMATIC Edge", you can manage the settings for "SIMATIC Edge" and the Edge
apps installed on the HMI device.
SIMATIC Edge
● "Enable SIMATIC Edge": Option to activate or deactivate the Edge functionality. The
default setting is "deactivated".
● "Open edge management": Button to open the local Edge Management web page.
To manage Edge apps on the HMI device, log in to Edge Management using the "Sign in"
link.
Log in as a user who has been assigned the "Control Panel access" function right in the
configuration.
