Correct, reliable operation of the product requires proper transport, storage, positioning and
assembly as well as careful operation and maintenance.
Only qualified personnel should install or operate this instrument.
Note
Alterations to the product, including opening or improper modifications of the product are not
permitted.
If this requirement is not observed, the CE mark and the manufacturer's warranty will expire.
2.1 Laws and directives
General requirements
Installation
of the equipment must comply with national regulations. For example EN 60079-14
for the European Community.
Instrument safety standards
The device has been tested at the factory, based on the safety requirements. In order to
maintain this condition over the expected life of the device the requirements described in these
Operating Instructions must be observed.
Environmental conditions according to IEC 61010-1 (2010)
● Indoor use
● Altitude up to 2000m
● Maximum relative humidity 80% for temperatures up to 31°C (88°F) decreasing linearly up
to 50% relative humidity from 40°C (104°F)
● Main supply voltage fluctuations up to ±10% of the nominal voltage (see Technical
specifications (Page 67))
● Overvoltage category II
● Pollution degree 2
