The RWI65.01 provides all control and monitoring functions mentioned above.
Prerequisite:
Correct configuration of the heat source (water or electric) with DIL switch 8.
Operating mode is set to "Automatic" ( ) and timeswitch program of timeswitch is
set to "ON", or
Operating mode "Manual ON" ( I )
Continuous checkback signal of plant's and circulating pump's operational status,
based on the signals delivered by the monitoring elements such as flow switch and
overcurrent protection
Switching off actions, depending on the selected alarm priority (A or b), and operating
mode as well as delays aimed at avoiding incorrect signals are adjustable
Permanent monitoring of frost protection
To save pump energy and to avoid damage to the pump:
Parallel output of heating and pump on command when there is a demand for heat
Pump kick, interval and minimum running time are adjustable
Activation of electric air heater battery only when there is a demand for heat and
when the monitoring elements are enabled
Continuous checkback signal of plant's operational status, especially that of the
electric air heater battery, based on the signals delivered by the monitoring elements
such as flow switch or filter switch, thermal cutout or overcurrent protection
Switching off of plant elements, depending on the selected alarm priority (A or b)
Adjustable alarm delays for disturbances of filter or flow
Adjustable fan overrun times
Two possibilities of control
With integrated ON/OFF command (Q20)
With DC 0...10 V control signal via digital or binary step switches
Adaptation to compressor or heat pump operation by setting a switching interval and
a switching differential
Selectable pump kick for heat pump operation
Switching off of plant elements, depending on the selected alarm priority (A or b)
An additional sensor must be installed if this function is used. Three temperature values
(temperature behind heat recovery, equipment, outdoor air and extract air temperature)
are required to calculate efficiency. The calculated value is shown on the controller and
it generates an alarm if it falls below an adjustable threshold value.
To display data points 110 to 118, set DIL switch No. 2 to the left.
The efficiency value acts as a fault indicator, for example, for defective, polluted or
incorrectly connected heat recovery equipment.
This function (display/alarming) is supported by the FLN integration solutions (AZI65.1 /
UNIGYR, VISIONIK) and LON/BACnet (AZI65.2 / DESIGO 30).
When this function is used, the Z-input is not available for other functions.
The timeswitch is a weekly time switch with programmable switching on/off times for
every weekday.
The switching on/off times can be reprogrammed at any time without having to readjust
the time of day. The switching statuses are immediately adapted to the new switching
on/off times.
Summer/wintertime changeover: Depending on the season, one hour is either added to
the actual time (display with a solid square = summertime) or subtracted from it.
The time program is stored should a power failure occur - like all other settings.
