Patient assistance
in an emergency
If decompression cannot be controlled, e. g. during power failures or system mal-
functions, proceed as follows:
◆ Pull out the knob (2) and turn it by 90° until it locks into the deep locking notch
(lock-in position a).
◆ Lift the cone arm off from the patient until it locks in position at approx. 10°.
Release the cone arm lock again:
◆ Press the cone arm slightly upwards and hold it.
◆ Pull out the knob (2) and turn it by 90° until it locks into the flat locking notch
(lock-in position b).
◆ Let the cone arm move down slowly.
