7.6 Interrupts
De󹪝nition
A diagnostics interrupt is an alarm that reports activated events of a device status to the system
operator with the appropriate operating authorization (maintenance and service).
Description
The interface module supports diagnostics interrupts:
The IM 155-6 PN HA generates a diagnostic interrupt for the following events:
Faulty 24 V DC power supply
Module parameter errors or incorrect carrier present in real slot
Failure of redundancy partner
Impermissible bus adapter on interface module
Incorrect bus adapter in redundancy partner
Permissible backplane bus size exceeded
No server module
Diagnostics of I/O modules are forwarded by the IM 155-6 PN HA and depend on the respective
I/O module.
The IM 155-6 PN HA generates a maintenance message for the following events:
Di󹪜erent hardware/󹪝rmware in the redundancy partners
IO redundancy warning
Redundancy parameter assignment inconsistent
Retentive memory in carrier module defective
Displays and interrupts
