5.1.6 Performing customer-specific system programming
You can perform system programming by means of one of the following tools
Hicom Assistant T (programming telephone, see Section A.3) or
Hicom Assistant E (PC tool).
Changes to the system (e.g. key programming) made using Hicom Assistant E during
an offline programming session will be lost when the database is loaded.
Refer to Chapter 7 for information on how to program individual features.
5.1.7 Carrying out a quick check
Checking terminals
You should check the display function (display of time and date) on each terminal. If a display
does not appear, either the terminal or the link is defective. Replace the terminal or check the
link.
You should also carry out the telephone test described in Section 13.3.3 at regular intervals.
Functional testing
You should set up internal and external calls to random destinations.
