7.2.25 Do Not Disturb (DND)
Definition
Each user can activate do not disturb on his own extension by means of a procedure preventing
incoming calls from being put through to this extension.
A user who has activated do not disturb hears a special dial tone when he lifts the handset. The
message "Do not disturb" is also displayed on optiset E terminals with displays as long as the feature
is active. On all other optiset E terminals, the extension LED indicates the busy state.
The AC/night extension or an authorised extension can override do not disturb. In this case, the caller
first hears a busy signal after dialling the number. The call is then signalled on the extension that has
activated do not disturb. If the user has activated the "silent ringing" feature, the call is only signalled
visually. If a user who has activated do not disturb on his extension is engaged in a call, an incoming
call is signalled by means of a camp-on tone.
A caller who dials a terminal on which do not disturb is activated receives a busy signal.

this terminal.
Call forwarding Call forwarding cannot be activated on a terminal that has activated
do not disturb.
Callback If a callback is set for an extension on which do not disturb is
activated, the callback is not executed until do not disturb has been
deactivated. If the subscriber who has activated do not disturb
initiates a callback, this will override the do not disturb function.
Timed reminder, automatic
wake-up system
If a user has set a timed reminder and has activated DND, an
acoustic signal is sounded on the terminal when the timed reminder
is due.
