5. The selected extension number is dialled after a brief wait time.
7.6.3 System Speed-Dialling
Definition
You can store frequently used extension numbers in the system memory. Each number is represented
by a short code that can be used instead of dialling the full extension number.
Speed-dialling numbers are predefined in the system. The codes can be dialled from any subscriber
extension that is assigned to a speed-dialling group.
Use the redial key or the "hash" (#) key to program a "dial pause" and a DTMF changeover function.

Ext.extension numbers Speed-dialling destinations can contain external extension
numbers only.
Ext.extension numbers The external extension number must be entered along with the
route or seizure code.
Translation of extension nos. to
names
A name can be assigned to each speed-dialling destination
Tenant service If a tenant service is implemented via trunk access, authorised
seizure of lines is not checked. If speed-dialling is carried out,
the system automatically seizes the next free line regardless of
whether the subscriber is authorised to seize this line or not.
Consequently, an incorrect route telephone number is displayed
on the B station.
Therefore a tenant service should always be implemented via
traffic restriction groups (TRG).
Entrance telephone Entrance telephones cannot access speed-dialling numbers
