2. Press the DSS key. The programmed extension rings.
7.8.3 Names
Definition
Names can be assigned to each extension, to each extension group and to each route. These names are
displayed for internal calls (including CorNet-N). If an internal call does not contain extension
number information (e.g. analog CO), the relevant route name is displayed. If the incoming call
contains extension number information (ISDN), this information is displayed. See also Translate
Extension Numbers to Names for System Speed-Dialling (on page 7-117).
