3.2.2 CBMOD
Introduction
All central control and switching operations for Hicom 150 E OfficePro are performed by the
CBMOD board (S30810-Q2960-X, see Figure 3-2).

Remote administration and maintenance is not possible with the integrated
digital modem (B channel access).
The integrated modem card, IMOD, must be inserted to permit remote
administration and maintenance.

systems. Otherwise, remote administration and maintenance is not possible
with the integrated digital modem (B channel access).

modem card, IMOD, and the integrated digital modem (also with IMOD
inserted).

Notes on application
The relevant V.24 interface of the CBMOD can be accessed from the front side of the basic
cabinet (after removing the cover) to connect a Hicom Assistant E (see Figure 3-2).
The entire contents of the RAM are retained for approx. 100 hours in the event of a power
failure. Data is retained by means of a maintenance-free NiCd battery. The charging time at
initial activation is approx. 24 hours.
