Both systems have an ISDN trunk connection with the attendant code 0 (trunk group 1 with trunk
group code 0)
Both systems have a CorNet link to the remote system (trunk group 2 with trunk group code 80)
Programming the master system via Assistant E
Go to the Routes window in the Lines/networking menu and select Route 2. Make the following
settings:
Enter the route name and set the 2nd trunk code to 0 (0 is the trunk group code for route 1 in the slave
system).
The trunk group code can remain at 80.
Go to Route 1 and enter a 2nd trunk group code, e.g. 77. ( 77 must be an unassigned number in the
system's numbering plan; this is required for break out in the slave system!).
Enter the route telephone number of the ISDN trunk.
The route type is set to PABX for route 2 in the Routing parameters window. The route telephone
number (PABX number) is set under No. and type, outgoing for routes 1 and 2.
The CorNet lines are to be assigned to route 2 in the Trunks window. Double-click on the asterisk in
the Param column for the relevant line to set the protocol to S0: CorNet-N variant 2 master (direct). In
the System Parameters window, ensure that the call number of the external attendant code is set to 0
in the Diversion/VPL tab. Deactivate Automatic line seizure in the Flags/CMI tab.
Switch to the Least cost routing window and activate Release LCR.
Make the following entries in the Dial plan window:
Line 1: Dialled digit 0CZ references route table 1 (plan for trunk call)
Line 2: Dialled digit 80-Z references route table 2 (plan for CorNet call)
Line 3: Dialled digit 80-0CZ references route table 3 (plan for break out in the slave system)
Line 4: Dialled digit 77CZ references route table 1 (plan for 2nd trunk access code, required for break
out from the slave system)
Make the the following entries in Route table 1 in the Route table window:
(table for trunk call)
Line 1: Route 1, Dial rule 1, Warning: NONE
Line 2: Route 2, Dial rule 4, Warning: Display + tone (trunk seizure in the slave system if the
Euro-ISDN malfunctions or is busy)
Make the the following entries in Route table 2 in the Route table window:
(table for CorNet call)
Line 1: Route 2, Dial rule 2, Warning: NONE
Line 2: Route 1, Dial rule 5, Warning: Display + tone (dialling via trunk in slave system if CorNet
malfunctions or is busy)
