8.34 Configuring an AC
Introduction
An extension or a group is to be configured as an attendant console (intercept position).
Example
Extension 12 should be configured as an attendant console. Extension 13 is the attendant
console for permanent night service.
In the case of direct inward dialling, the intercept should operate on no answer or on busy,
when an invalid or incomplete number is dialled.
The intercept position should be reachable from outside with 0 (default) and internally with 91.
If more than two calls are queued at the attendant console, these should be forwarded to
extension 13.
"Speed transfer" and "Transfer undialled trunk" should be activated for the attendant console.
