sion 1011 which is forwarded (*11) to the VMIe

configured as Second Attendant:

Voice Mail Protocol for the system:
The Voice Mail signals that there are messages in the
extension’s mailbox by sending the DTMF service code
(*68) plus the extension number. When a message is
erased, another DTMF code is used (#68) in order to
deactivate signaling at the extension belonging to the
VMIe Group. These codes are configurable to provide
compatibility with different Voice Mail systems. Please
refer to “Deactivating Internal MWI #68” and “Activat-
ing Internal MWI *68” in “System Configuration -
Service Codes” in the HiPath 1100 System Manager.
For example,
1. Voice Mail indicates that there is a message in the
mailbox of Extension 13: *6813;
2. Voice Mail indicates that the mailbox of Extension
12 is empty: #6812.
