Using system call forwarding
This section describes the system call forwarding func-
tions in System. These functions are activated with fea-
ture codes. You can also program a frequently used
function on a programmable sensor key.
Call forwarding busy line
With Call forwarding busy line (CFBL), you can use a
feature code to activate or deactivate forwarding for
calls received on a busy line and define a forwarding
destination.
Activating
^ Lift the handset.
j Enter the code, for example *90 (contact your service
personnel)
or if you also want to set the forwarding destination
j enter the code with a phone number, for example
*901234567 to deactivate call forwarding.
Z You hear a confirmation tone.
Deactivating
^ Lift the handset.
j Enter the code, for example *91 (contact your service
personnel) to deactivate call forwarding.
Z You hear a confirmation tone.
All call forwarding types described in this section
refer to system call forwarding which is con-
trolled by HiPath 8000.
Never combine phone-based call forwarding
with system call forwarding.
Your service personnel may also have configured
a permanent forwarding destination so that calls
are automatically forwarded to this fixed phone
number as soon as you activate CFBL forward-
ing.
