Table 2-3 User-Programmable LED Operations
Parameters Description LED Default Value
L2 L2 self reset or hand reset – (hand reset)
L3 L3 self reset or hand reset – (hand reset)
If the LED is configured as Self Reset, then LED turns on when the function is active and turns off when func-
tion resets. If the device goes to sleep when the LED was on, then on device wake-up the LED remains turned
on as long as the configured function is still active.
If the LED is configured as Hand Reset, then the LED is turned on when the function is active. The LED remains
on even after the configured function resets. If the device goes to sleep when the LED was turned on, then on
device wake-up the LED remains turned on irrespective of the configured function status. The LED can only be
reset by pressing the ▶ key (TEST/RESET key), through BI - Rst LEDs & O/Ps function and through
Modbus or IEC 103 commands.
Local Flag
Local flag is an electromechanical bi-stable flag fitted in the front fascia to indicate the trip condition. The
status of the flag is BLACK in normal operation and turns TANGERINE color during the trip condition.
The auxiliary voltage or phase currents provide the energy required to show the trip indication. The trip indica-
tion is retained even in the absence of auxiliary voltage and phase currents.
The flag indicates a trip indication when any protection function operates, or any binary inputs or external trip
initiation inputs are mapped to a trip pulse output.
The trip indication can be reset with any power mode by pressing the ▶ key (TEST/RESET key).
Rating Label
The device is identified by the rating label on the front fascia. You can also give the device its own identity by
