Ensure that the configuration PC is
connected to S7-400 “Backup” via
SCALANCE X108. Load the program to
the S7-400 CPU. When configuring the
S7-400 CPU for the first time, it is
required to select the connection partner
using the MAC address.

Connect S7-400 “Backup” to S7-200
“Basis” via SCALANCE X108.
6. Restart S7-200 “Basis”.
