10.4 Set reference point
Definition
The "set reference point" setting is used to synchronize the axis. This setting shifts the
working area. All shifts generated by a zero offset or "set actual value" function are retained.
The setting maps the working range onto the axis. Different value settings will thus move the
working range to different positions within the physical range of the axis.
Requirement
Cam processing must be disabled.
Programming steps
1. Write the value for the reference point coordinate to the channel DB.
– Linear axis:
The reference-point coordinate may not exceed the range of the software limit
switches. This also applies to the reference point coordinate in a shifted coordinate
system.
– Rotary axis:
Rule for the reference point coordinate:
0 ≤ reference point coordinate < end of rotary axis
2. Set the relevant trigger bit.
