Effects of the setting
● simulation
– Simulation mode stops when the axis passes a software limit switch.
– You can resume simulation mode by enabling software limit switch monitoring. The
axis moves in the defined direction.
● Zero offset when monitoring is disabled
With a zero offset setting, and software limit switches operating within traversing range
limits, the actual value may still be out of the permissible number range.
● Cams located outside the assigned software limit switches can be switched.
CAUTION
Risk of material damage!
When taking safety measures such as reducing the traversing range by setting software
limit switches, you risk damage to your equipment when these switches are disabled.
In the planning and engineering phases for your plant, you should be certain that the
drive can travel in the entire physical traversing range.
