Maintenance
For 3WA circuit breakers, only the arc chutes, the arc chute covers and the contact
system require maintenance.
Replacing arc chutes and the contact system
The arc chutes and the contact system may need to be replaced depending on their
condition and at the latest when the number of electrical and mechanical operating
cycles without maintenance has been reached. After replacing the arc chutes and the
contact system, reset the maintenance alarm with the help of the configuration software
SENTRON powerconfig.

Note
The contact system may only be replaced if the maximum
permissible number of
operating cycles with maintenance has not been exceeded.
Replacing the arc chute cover (withdrawable circuit breaker)
Optionally fitted arc chute covers must be replaced in the following cases:
• At the latest after three circuit breaker short-circuit trips
• Whenever the arc chutes are replaced
