The write access to the device settings can be protected by means of a password.
As soon as the password has been entered once for the device, it is not requested again for
as long as the device is still in the "Settings" menu.
Password protection prevents the following actions:
● Changing of device settings, including password
● Changing and deletion of values
● Deletion of data and memory content
● Setting and resetting of counts
● Resetting to factory settings
Reading out of measured values and memory content is possible without restriction when
password protection is active.
