"Write protection" parameter
No write access is possible. In order to gain write access, the hardware write protection on
the device must be deactivated.
No: Hardware write protection is deactivated
Yes: Hardware write protection is activated.
(default setting: No)
Request message "PRESS SW" appears on the display. By pressing the SW key on the
device during this phase, the protection function is activated or deactivated.
If the write protection is activated, "PRESS SW" is shown on the display before the
parameter is changed. The protection is only lifted temporarily. After returning to the setting
level, the write protection is reactivated.
Note
Activate hardware write protection
On connecting the device to a network, it is recommended that the hardware write protection
is activated.
