SNMP
NOTE
The SNMP protocol is implemented in SICAM P850/P855 in order to be able to retrieve manufacturer-
specific information.
To retrieve information via SNMP, an MIB browser and the SICAM P.mib file are required. The MIB browser
allows the displaying of SNMP information objects and their content.
To download the SNMP device MIB file, proceed as follows:

Select yes in the Enable SNMP option (see Figure 2-26.
•
In the Communication Ethernet input/output window, click Download SNMP device MIB file.
•
The File Download dialog opens.

Click Save.
The Save As dialog opens and you can save the SICAM P.mib file in any folder and use it in an MIB
browser.
