5.13 Changing the Communication Parameters
At delivery, the following communication parameters are preset:
• Address: 1
• Protocol: Serial ASCII
• Baud rate: 9600 bit/s
• Parity: No
In order to switch to another protocol, proceed as follows:
1. From the menu, select Device → Connection configuration → Edit. The dialog Device
connection parameters will open.
2. Select the combination of bus protocols supported by your device in the bus protocols in
the device field:
• PROFIBUS DP and Modbus or
• IEC 60870-5-103 and Modbus
