7.3 Configuration of the Device

After clicking Send, the parameters are transmitted to the device but not enabled yet (passive set of
parameters).
✧ If you do not want to make any additional settings, continue with the Activation of the device configuration
according to section Activating the Set of Parameters. If you want to change other settings, enter the
changes and then enable the device configuration as described in section Activating the Set of
Parameters.
Download ICD/CID Files
You can download the following files (see Figure 7-51):
• a single CID file which contains the data of the currently set power system type, for example, four wire any
load (3P4W)
This file has the file extension *.cid.
• A compressed ICD file which contains the files of all available power system types, for example, 1p2W,
3P3W2I, 3P3WI3 etc.
The compressed file has the file extension *.zip, and the decompressed files in it have the file extension
*.icd.
✧ Click Download CID file.
The parameters of the currently set power system type are downloaded as *.cid file to the folder you have
specified.
✧ Click Download ICD zip file.
All parameters of SICAM P850/P855 are downloaded to the folder you have specified as *.zip files.
No Ethernet Communication
✧ In the Bus protocol list box select the entry -none-.
No Ethernet protocol is available in this case.
NOTE
For SICAM P850 V2.20 or higher, file extension *.cid is changed to *.iid.
