General Troubleshooting
You are not authorized to troubleshoot the defective device beyond the measures described in Chapter 12 and
make repairs yourself. Special electronic modules are inserted in the SICAM P850/P855 which can only be
replaced by the manufacturer according to the guidelines for Electrostatic sensitive devices (ESD).
If you suspect any damage on the device, Siemens recommends sending the entire device to the manufacturer.
For this purpose, it is best to use the original transport packaging or similar packaging.
Troubleshooting Based on Error Messages
The error messages can be saved as described in Chapter 7.2.8.2, section File download  Save.
The error messages can be printed as described in Chapter 7.2.8.2, section File download  Open.

Error messages are service information that you quote to the service department upon request in case of an
error.
