2.6.2 Communication of the SICAM Q100 Devices with the SICAM I/O Units
(subdevices) via External Ethernet Switches and Modbus UDP
When using external Ethernet switches, you can connect the devices SICAM Q100 and SICAM I/O Unit
7XV5673 with each other. Furthermore, control system devices can be connected to the external Ethernet
switches. The following diagram shows a device wiring example and the possible transmission protocols.
