8.3 Configuration of the Device

✧ Enter the desired values into the fields and select the corresponding parameters in the option fields as
described in Table 8-8.
✧ After the parameterization click Send.
The parameters are transmitted to the device but not enabled yet (passive set of parameters).
✧ If you do not want to make any additional settings, continue with the Activation of the device configuration
according to section Activating the Set of Parameters. If you want to change other settings, enter the
changes and then enable the device configuration as described in section Activating the Set of
Parameters.
Use Password
If you select the option Use password = no, no password is required to parameterize the device with the
softkeys.
If you select the option Use password = yes, you must first enter the activation password (default setting
000000) before you can edit the device settings. After you have entered the correct password, you can change
the parameterization using the softkeys within the next 15 minutes. After this time you have to re-enter the
password at the device.
