Starting the User Interface without Uploading a New Firmware
✧ Click Run Application. The following message appears:

✧ Wait for at least 20 s and then click the home
link.
The user interface opens.
Starting the User Interface with Uploading a New Firmware
✧ Click Browse....
The Choose file dialog opens.
✧ Select the desired firmware package in the directory.
✧ Click Open.
The selected path appears in the Browse... field.
✧ Click upload.
If the firmware upload is successful, the following information is displayed in the Boot Loader window:

✧ Wait for at least 30 s and then click the home
link.
The user interface opens.
12.2.2 Manual Start of the Boot Loader
If it is necessary to start the Boot Loader manually, proceed as follows:
✧ If the SICAM Q100 is still energized by the supply voltage, switch off the supply voltage.
✧ At the SICAM Q100, press the softkey F4 (see Chapter 6.7.3), keep the softkey F4 pressed, and switch
on the supply voltage.
