Information on the measuring ranges and the display with disabled or enabled failure
monitoring can be found in the section "Analog value display (Page 85)".
• If failure monitoring is enabled, the following applies to the measuring range:
3.6 mA < valid measuring range (nominal range) < 21 mA
– Hysteresis at the upper end of the measuring range (detection "Overow/nominal
range"):
- The analog value is invalid as of 21 mA.
- The analog value becomes valid again when it falls below the value 20.5 mA.
– Hysteresis at the lower end of the measuring range (detection "Underow/nominal
range"):
- The analog value is invalid as of 3.6 mA.
- The analog value becomes valid again when it rises above the value 3.8 mA.
• Diagnostics for enabling failure monitoring
You can enable a diagnostic message for the overow/underow (Diagnostics overow/
Diagnostics underow).
If you enable wire break and underow diagnostics simultaneously, the wire break
diagnostic is output.
5.4.9 Diagnostics HART
Denition
Enabling the diagnostics of the HART frame-specic monitoring and the status information
supplied by the connected eld device in the HART frame (HART device status).
The HART diagnostics are reported as maintenance events.
