3.4.8 Switching on, testing and switching off the device
Switch on the HMI device
1. Switch on the power supply. The display lights up.
If the HMI device fails to start after a longer period, you may have crossed the cables on
the power supply connector. Check the connected cables and correct the polarity if
necessary.
If a project is available on the HMI device, then the project is started after the defined
delay time.
If there is no project on the HMI device, the Control Panel is displayed.
2. If desired, operate the project or configure the HMI device via the Control Panel.
If you no longer need the HMI device, switch it off.
Switching off the HMI device
1. Close the project on the HMI device.
2. Switch off the power supply.
