3-158 SINUMERIK Integrate AMB, AMC, AMM, Function Manual (FH) - 03/2013
3.4.17 Server trigger on "Cyclic trigger on variable monitors"
Function description
These server triggers are initiated when limits or intervals are reached/exceeded.
These limits/intervals can be configured for variables if these are read cyclically
from the control and were defined as counters. (Endless counters in
SINUMERIK Integrate can not be reset, even when the variable is reset.)
Cyclic trigger on variables
A cyclic trigger on a variable requires a variable defined as counter. These are
processed as "endless counters" (without zero crossing) so that the intervals are
always consistent. When a configured interval value is reached or exceeded, the
trigger is initiated.
Notice
Cyclic triggers for NC variable data can only be created as a template if an axis
configuration is available.
Since the endless counter function of the NC cannot be guaranteed when
components are exchanged, when a smaller new value is read,
SINUMERIK Integrate adds a read small new value as an offset to the old value.
