2.20 Maintenance, Repair and Cleaning
The SIMEAS P does not require special maintenance. If
necessary, it can be checked in a laboratory and readjusted.
Repair of defective modules is never recommended
because specially selected electronic components are used
which must be handled in accordance with the procedures
required by Electrostatically Endangered Components
(EEC).
Therefore, if a device defect is suspected, it is
recommended that the complete device be returned to the
manufacturer. Use the original transport packaging or an
appropriate packaging for return.
If it is unavoidable to replace individual modules, it is
imperative that the standards related to the handling of
Electrostatically Endangered Components are observed.

When carrying out changes on site, the instructions for handling
electrostatically endangered components must be observed (EEC).
