2 Operating Instructions
2.1 Conformity
This product complies with the directives of the Council of
the European Communities in accordance with the laws of
the Member States regarding electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC Council Directive 89/336/EEC) and the application of
electrical equipment within specified voltage limits (Low
Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC).
Compliance has been verified via testing performed by
Siemens AG as per article 10 of the Council Directives in
accordance with the generic standards EN 50081-2 and
EN 61000-6-2 (for EMC Directive) as well as EN 61010-1
(for Low Voltage Directive).
The device is designed and manufactured for application in
industrial environments as defined in the standard EN
50081.
The device is designed and manufactured in accordance
with the international standard IEC 60688, EN 60688 and
DIN EN 60688.
