Drag and drop the frequency converter to the PROFIBUS network. Enter the PROFIBUS
address set on the frequency converter in HW Config.

The frequency converter object in the HW Config product catalog contains a number of
message frame types. The message frame type defines which cyclic data (= process data
(PZD)) is exchanged between the controller and frequency converter. With standard
message frame 1, for example, the frequency inverter receives the process data for the
speed setpoint and control word from the control system and returns its actual speed value
and status word in the process data.
