4.5.10.4 Installing GSDML
Procedure
To install the GSDML of the inverter in the engineering system of the controller, proceed as
follows:
1. Save the GSDML to your PC .
– From the Internet: GSDML (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/
26641490)
– From your inverter:
Insert a memory card into the inverter.
Set p0804 = 12.
The inverter writes the GSDML as zipped file (*.zip) into directory /SIEMENS/SINAMICS/
DATA/CFG on the memory card.
2. Unzip the GSDML file on your computer.
3. Import the GSDML into the engineering system of the controller.
You have now installed the GSDML in the engineering system of the controller.
