Overload capability
The converter is equipped with an overload reserve to deal with breakaway torques, for
example.
In drives with overload requirements, the appropriate base load current must, therefore, be
used as a basis for the required load.
The overloads apply under the precondition that the converter is operated at its base-load
current before and after the overload (a duty cycle duration of 300 s is used as a basis here).
Low overload
The base-load current for low overload (I
L
) is based on a load duty cycle of 110% for 60 s or
150% for 10 s.

160% for 10 s.
