Grounding the Drive
The VFD must be grounded to allow safe operation.
If not suciently grounded during operation, the protection and monitoring functions can fail.
Failure to install proper grounding connections may result in death or cause damage to the
drive.
• Always take the appropriate precautions and observe all applicable practices /codes / laws
before carrying out any work on the converter.
• Ensure the ground bond jumpers are installed between all drive cabinets.
