Dose rate adjustment 5
Prerequisite 5
• The "Adjustment mode" parameter in the "Dose rate adjustment" parameter group must
be programmed to "Semi automatic".
Preparations 5
• Switch the SIREMOBIL Compact on.
• Connect the service PC to the serial interface of the SIREMOBIL Compact.
• Start the service program.
• Select the “Diagnostics...”menu.
• Select the “Dose rate adjustment” menu in the Combo Box “Group 1”.
- The subsequent display is visible on the service PC:
• Insert 25mm AL and 2.1mm Cu filters at the radiation exit port of the Sirephos.
• The grid remains on the I.I.

Protect yourself against radiation exposure. Wear a lead apron.
- AUTO REGULATION
indicates the current status of the automatic adjustment
(active / not active / done)
- BRIGHTNESS DEVIATION
indicates the difference of the brightness actual value minus the
brightness nominal value
- CONTROL CURVE
indicates the currently selected fluoroscopic curve
-ADJUSTMENT
Indicates the operating control mode
(Generator / Camera Iris / Stop)
- BV-ZOOM STATUS
indicates the I.I. format (survey / zoom).
-DOSERATE
indicates the selected dose control level (LOW / MID / HIGH)
Only the MID dose control level is used
Correction factors:
Grid factor 23cm (9”) I.I. and 17cm (7”) I.I.: 1.5
Chamber correction factor for Dali and Nomex: 1.06
Dose rate to be set at the I.I. input screen:
23 (9”) I.I. and 17cm (7”) I.I.: 220 nGy/s
