Several variations of the V/f characteristic exist, which are shown in the following table:

with flux current con-

Characteristic that compensates for volt-
age losses in the stator resistance for
static/dynamic loads (flux current control
FCC).
This is particularly useful for small motors,
since they have a relatively high stator
resistance.
2 Parabolic characteris-

Characteristic that takes into account the
motor torque curve (e.g. fan/pump).
