Inserting blocks from the library into the program
The following table describes all steps for integrating the function blocks and the UDTs into a
SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 project.

1 Open the project into which you want to insert the function block.

Open the global library “PSU8600 V2-3 STEP 7 V5.5”.

Navigate through the folders “PSU8600 V2-3 STEP 7 V5.5 > PSU8600 V2-3 > Blocks” in the library.

Select all the blocks in the “Blocks” folder.
5 Drag and drop all the blocks into the “Blocks” folder in your target project folder.

The function blocks work properly with both, Eng
lish and German mnemonics. In case the
source code of the function blocks is required for a project, consider the following
constraints:

In case the language setting of your project is English, then the source code of the
function blocks can be used as it is.
•
In case the language setting of your project is German, then the entries IB (Input Byte)
and IW (Input Word) of the sources have to be replaced with EB (EingangsByte)
