4 Assign the remaining tags. Use the default tags and drag-and-drop the appropriate tag onto the input of
the block. Descriptions of the inputs and the respective reference of the default tags are given in the sec-
tion FB SITOP_PSU8600/SITOP_PSU8600_1 (Page 16).
5 Follow the same procedure for the other function blocks:
• SITOP_PSU8600_MainUnit
• SITOP_CNX8600
• SITOP_CNX8600_8X
• SITOP_PSU8600_MainUnitSingle
• SITOP_BUF8600_MS
• SITOP_BUF8600_S
• SITOP_PSU8600_Buffering
• SITOP_PSU8600_Output
Interconnect the inputs and outputs of the function blocks with your process tags or constants. Descrip-
tions of the inputs and outputs, as well as the expected formats, types and units are given in the chapter
SIMATIC Step 7 function blocks (Page 15).
Note
Use the predefined UDTs (refer to the respective function block description for which UDT is
to be used) for different input and output parameters to create necessary data fields in the
DBs.
