5.1.6 Commissioning the device after transmitter electronics have been replaced
Procedure
1. Commission the device according to the operating instructions.
2. In order for the measuring cell data to be read by the new measuring cell electronics, restore
the factory setting on the device.
Use the "RESET" parameter [35] > "FACT" via local operation.
3. If required, write the saved user data to the device via remote operation (such as SIMATIC
PDM).
Result
The device is now ready for operation.
5.2 Replacing the measuring cell
Procedure
Note
When replacing the measuring cell, observe the relevant certi󹪝cates (e.g. oxygen applications,
material certi󹪝cates).
To replace the measuring cell, carry out the following steps:
1. If required, back up the user data via remote operation (e.g. SIMATIC PDM).
2. Remove the display.

Measuring accuracy following measuring cell replacement
After you have replaced the measuring cell, the measuring accuracy of the device may be
outside the speci󹪝cation.
To comply with the speci󹪝ed measurement accuracy, carry out a sensor calibration.
