Introduction
Note
Have the calibration performed by an accredited laboratory according to ISO 17025 or by a
quali󹪝ed service technician.
It is recommended to adhere to following guidelines:

Interval for repeating the calibration
The deadline for repeating the calibration is determined according to the customer's
requirements.
DAkks-DKD-R-6-1 (Annex F) recommends the interval of 1 year for electrical pressure gauges
with an accuracy of < 0.5%. Additional information can be obtained from the documentation
of the manufacturer, e.g. tool for design and calculation for pressure measurement.
Alternatively, the test cycle can be adapted to the respective measurement using historical
data.
Requirement
• You have a suitable test instrument with regard to the measurement inaccuracy and
approval.
• You have checked on location that the pressure transmitter is in perfect condition.
Service and maintenance (Page37)
• You have observed the ambient conditions (e.g. temperature, mounting position).
Procedure
1. Calibrate the pressure transmitter according to the guidelines for the test equipment.
