13. IO-Link function
As of firmware version REV190320, the FM100 flowmeter has an IO-Link
communication interface as standard. Process and diagnostic data can be
accessed directly via this interface and the device can be parameterized.
Output 1 is factory configured for IO-Link function. If the IO-Link communication
mode is active, the "IOLINK" symbol in the status display for the outputs is
displayed in green. The setup menu remains locked when the IOLINK mode is
active and is inaccessible.
To ensure that the IO-Link device can be operated correctly on the connected IO-
Link master, it is necessary to install the device description file matching the
device.
The device description files (IODD) are available in the IODDfinder,
ioddfinder.io-link.com.
